Get Some Glue and DIY some Art!

I stared at the Anthropologie window display at Easton. I was loving it and hating it at once and then I thought more about it and decided it would be a great way to have some fun and cover an unsightly wall or cool to hang as a key holder.
I see others feel the same way. I was reading Apartment therapy today and saw this. I heart Apartment Therapy. They are always right on it! They are always kick ass.

Trickery

Wordle allows me to look at all the stuff I have to do and want to do in a fresh way. It kinda makes it OK and I forget I wanna cut my head off.

wishes on a wall

Do you have an inspiration board?
My pal Jess was talking about building herself a cork wall soon. I only have this. It is a slab of some cheap particle board air nailed to the wall of the play room/ office. It is the chapter breakdown of my novel. I think I need a creativity board for all the projects here at the house and for myself. Any tips or advice? Yeah, I blurred out my novel stuff. You will so have to wait!

At first glance

Decor8 had some cool ideas and tips for entryways today. I need help with mine. I have yet to paint it or replace mini brass chandy. The only thing I did was drag my gramps old trunk for Sweden and pile crap on it and hang a painting. I want it to be a lovely whimsical opening to my home. Now it is not. Tips? When you open yr door...what is there?

hang some art/even over the mess and you will smile

I am sick of my upstairs
looking ragged and dull
plaster and drywall and the hallway weeps
with sadness
I am gonna keep putting
art on the walls
art right over the mess
because waiting seems silly
it could be another year
I swear the hallway whispered
thank you
as I left the bath today
I swear

Scooby Doo Bookcase

I am trying to sort out where this is going in my house. Joe built this for a customer in German Village and it rocks! He even built real book into it as the lever- I think he used hardback "The History of England". I was going through business photos today and started swooning over his talents. I am also knee deep in photos of bathroom remodels and trying to sort out what sink unit we want...Oh the many ways to go...Oh the little dough...
